Alicia has been in music for nearly two decades, uniquely crossing the lines between genres including classical, jazz, pop/rock, and world music. Her sound is the result of extensive conservatory training met with the demands of the real-world music industry.
She’s studied music at Indiana-University Purdue-University FW, performed with various orchestras including the Fort Wayne Philharmonic, & won numerous competitions. She performs regularly both solo & with her quartet, the Alicia Pyle Quartet (APQ) in various venues/events across NE Indiana including large-scale private/corporate events, fundraisers, arts/cultural gatherings, Jazzfest, Riverfest, & for local programs on NPR and Access TV.
She teaches & coaches students in both her home-studio, and for the Sweetwater Sound Academy. She enjoys educating students of all ages & skill levels in multiple genres of music.
Her compositions also cross the boarders of many genres, and have been commissioned for commercial use, conference openers, and most recently film-scoring opportunities. She is currently working on an album of originals to be released in the fall of 2014 with the Alicia Pyle Quartet.
She also loves using her passion to make an imprint both globally and on the local scene. She enjoys fundraising with local non-profit arts organizations, for local cancer patients & individuals undergoing treatments for major-illnesses, and also in helping to raise awareness for the anti-human trafficking organization Destiny Rescue.
